At Northern Excavators we believe that our customer after-sales support is as important as the initial sale of a new or used machine. We understand that if a machine has performance issues or a break down, that it can cause our customers undue concern and uneconomical working conditions.
As part of our after-sales support we have a full-time service department which has a team of dedicated and fully trained personnel to carry out all of our customers' requirements. The service department offers our customers a range of products and services which include:
Machine maintenance servicing
- On or off site we can perform maintenance servicing to customer's requirements which may include; filter renewal, oil changes, standard machine inspection, rock hammer chisel renewal and inspection.
Machine repairs and refurbishments
- Our workshop caters for all customers requiring major or minor repairs and refurbishments including; engine rebuilds, undercarriage renewal, rock hammer rebuilds, hydraulic components testing and repairs, bucket refurbishing, and many other types of operations.
Fixed maintenance contracts
- A customer can take out a fixed maintenance contract for their machine which gives a clear picture of its running costs for the duration of the contract. Regular servicing and maintenance of a machine prevents un-necessary wear and fatigue of its components which sustains the machine performance and efficiency, and reduces the chances of breakdowns and component failures, saving the customer downtime and expense.
Breakdown cover
- We can respond to a customer who has encountered a machine breakdown by sending a qualify technician to resolve any issue and get the machine up and running as quickly as possible.
Warranty support
- All machines covered under warranty that encounter performance issues or a breakdown due to a manufacturers default can be resolved by our service department by identifying and repairing the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Technical support
- We can offer our customers full technical support on any queries that they may have regarding their machine.
All work that we carry out is performed to manufacturers specifications with genuine parts which are supplied and fitted by trained technicians.
